Fort Perch Rock, Wirral, Merseyside
About
Last Saturday I battled tremendous winds to have a stroll up to Fort Perch Rock, a former defence battery in New Brighton on the Wirral Peninsula. The now museum and former defence battery was built during the Napoleonic period to protect the port of Liverpool. Prior to being a museum it was also once a popular concert venue and could also be hired as a wedding venue. Sadly I had misplaced my wallet that afternoon so I had to decline the chance to check out the museum inside.
