Ashby de la Zouch Castle, Leicestershire
About
Today I checked out this 15th century castle in Ashby de la Zouch, a nearby village just outside of Leicester. Yeah I know, it's just some ruins and not an actual castle. It was a nice change to check out something different to a temple or church which I saw an abundance of on my travels over the past 12 months. It was less than a fiver to get in and you get a free audio tour gadget which looks a bit like a old Walkie-Talkie / old mobile phone to guide you around. Having said that the comedy duo narrating the tour started to become really annoying and not funny after 10 minutes.
