Blue Mosque, Istanbul, Turkey
About
The Sultan Ahmet Mosque or Sultan Ahmed Mosque is located is a popular tourist point in Istanbul, Turkey. It is more commonly known as The Blue Mosque and is over 400 years old. I think the name must come from the fact that inside the walls are covered in hand painted blue tiles. I visited the Mosque a few times last week during my trip to Istanbul and took a few photos at different times. This photo was taken the Monday morning before I left. It was a fairly sunny day and I've finally found the HD setting on my mobile so quite happy with it.
