Casa Rosada, Buenos Aires, Argentina
About
Casa Rosada (government house) is a famous pink palace in Buenos Aires. It has been home to the Argentine Government since 1810, but was painted pink and renamed to Casa Rosada during Domingo Faustino Sarmiento's administration later on. It was from the balcony of this presidential palace that Evita energized adoring crowds during her heyday in the forties which was later adapted into the movie Evita featuring Madonna.
