Chatsworth House Stately home, Bakewell, Derbyshire
About
Yesterday I popped to see my old friends the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire at their Bakewell home. Unfortunately they were too busy to see me so I went on a walk around their beautiful gardens instead to check out the Beyond Limits exhibition of cutting edge and contemporary art. I did take a particular interest in some of the pieces on display but not sure I'll bother to attend the auction. I think my favourite piece was Bermuda Triangle by Marc Quinn which upon first glance looks like a giant golden vagina. Approach it from the rear and it looks like a large sea shell.
