Cycling to Ladybower Reservoir, Derbyshire
About
I had a great ride yesterday to Castleton in the Peak District. It's only 16 miles from my house and I thought it would be a shame to waste a sunny day. I stopped off at Ladybower on the way and took a photo of my bike, the blue water and the blue sky. The ride wasn't as particularly challenging as I thought it would be because after the eight mile slow climb it's pretty much freewheeling for the next eight. I skipped leg day at the gym afterwards too given my legs had already had a workout. I ate a rather huge and overpriced burger and chips at The Bulls Head in Castleton and washed it down with a nice cool pint of Coors.
