Duns lane railway bridge demolition
About
Why they had to tear down the lovely Bowstring bridge and the pump n tap for the sake of a swimming pool god only knows. Only ever went in the pump n tap pub once around freshers week 2004. After the Bowstring was took down, the iron bridges in the photo were left hanging around for a few weeks until they began to clear the site ready for the new construction. I miss Bowstring bridge and the sense of character it gave to Braunstone gate (pronounced 'brawny gate') if your from Leicester.
