Erawan Waterfall, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
About
While staying in Kanchanaburi make sure you visit the Erawan national park. It's 50p for a 2 hour bus journey from the local bus station and well worth it. The limestone cliffs rise to nearly a thousand meters up the mountain side which makes for a beautiful 7 tiered waterfall. This is the second tier which is probably the best for swimming in and splashing around. I swam out to the rocks and inside the waterfall took a quick toilet break. The only downside to this beauty of nature was the cool water temperature and the shoals of fish which constantly eat away your flesh while you swim. If your thinking of paying to go to a fancy fish foot spa don't bother, you can get it here for free.
