Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Milan, Italy
About
It was great to get away earlier this week from the wind and rain which has plagued Essen of late. The fairer climate of northern Italy was just what the doctor ordered. So it came to be that I ended up in Milan.
Slap bang in the centre of town and impossible to miss, this is Italy's oldest active shopping mall. It was impossible to ignore the allure of the triumphal arch entrance and not be taken in by the warm golden glow coming from the inside. Unfortunately they didn't even have a TKMaxx which was a bit of a let down for me personally.
