Murlough Beach, County Down, Northern Ireland
About
Today I just about managed to run 9.2 km along Murlough Beach in County Down. I say "managed" because the tide was coming in and most of the beach was already lost to the sea. Instead the majority of my route was on loose pebbles and I made slow progress. I briefly opted to run barefoot along the shore but quickly switched back after no noticeable difference in speed. Wind surfing and kite surfing are not uncommon here but today I only saw dog walkers and the occasional jogger.
