Old house at Norsk Folkemuseum
About
When in Oslo it's essential you take a ferry to Bygdøy to checkout the museums across the water from the city centre. The old house above is part of the open air museum which is part of the cultural museum. It is the oldest open air museum in the world (apparently). It's quite a big area to explore and there are lots of examples of traditional buildings dating as far back as the 16th century. It was a beautiful hot sunny day and a great place to learn about Norway's cultural history. Around the corner from this house was a deserted petrol station with a VW Beetle inside that looked like something straight from the film House of Wax.
