Sentosa Boardwalk and Skytrain, Singapore
About
When in Singapore you will probably no doubt find yourself visiting Sentosa island at some point. To get there, I and two other backpackers (swiss dude n a swedish due) I met at my hostel (Travellers Inn) we used the Sentosa Boardwalk. It took about 5 minutes to cross onto Sentosa and actually cost us about 2 dollars I think to get through the pedestrian toll at the other end. Not sure why we chose this approach as it was FREE to ride the Sentosa Express mono rail there.I had a pretty good day on Sentosa going to the beach, the sea life centre and I even hired a bicycle for an hour. It was pretty old though, only had a front brake and was stuck in 9th gear. Just another example I guess of the Singapore government trying to control the people too much.
